sounds like you had fun at the twilight marathon! it still reminds me of twilight here and i whenever we drive down dark forresty roads i always wait for either sasquatch or jacob black to come chargin outta the woods haha but that has yet to happen..... everyone here either loves or HATES twilight its kinda funny but yaaa so basically its starting to get dark here at 4:30! isn't that nuts!? so we tract from 5 to 7 in the cold dark rain.. its currently a love/hate relationship for me haha we've had quite an adventurous tracting week. one guy opened the door in the shortest shorts i have ever seen on a man and he was larger and had a thick brown bowl cut hahahahah and i wanted to start laughing the moment i saw him but i didn't... needless to say he isn't coming to church.... oh man and you know how people look like there dogs?? ya well everyone here owns about 15 dogs so there was this one lady and she opens the door and i'm thinking to myself man she kinda looks like a pug and then 2 seconds later a 3 pugs coming running up behind her and i was like woah she looks just like her pets... haha we've tracted into some VERY interesting people that i'm not gonna mention in my email but ya everyone is just peace and love around here which i guess is my kind of people.... hah we keptknocking into anti's this week which was not fun. i don't understand why they just have to rip on us. why can't they just say you know what i'm not interested and leave it at that?? i got in a little toussle with this one guy which i shouldn't have done cause thats not what the savior wants me to do.. but i was annoyed which doesn't make it right either haha but ya he told us that we don't believe in Jesus Christ and i was like umm our church is called the church of JESUS CHRIST of latter-day saints and I do believe in him and then the man proceeded to tell me that, that was a lie and i don't believe in him and well the rest is history cause i figured out i don't like it when people bash something i believe very strongly in hah so i socked him in the face and peaced out... hah not really i just bit my tongue and let him say what he wanted to say... but ya.... so last night while tracting there was this indian boy dancing in the road singing veggie tales hahah and i tried to talk to him but he just kept singin! you probably don't know the song but it goes somthing like "God is bigger than the boogey man, he's bigger than godzilla and the monsters on tv ohhhh God is bigger than the boogey man AND he's watchin out for you and ME!" (look it up on itunes or something) and well this kid just kept dancing and singing (p.s. he is like 12 years old) i thought it was pretty funny... haha
so for thanksgiving we are going to a bunch of members homes but the one i am most excited for is the graves house cause sister graves makes bomb food and she even makes the jello stuff the aunt hiedi makes that i love AND sis baylon will be there! woooo! hah but ya i am basically going to have to be rolled home cause we have so many homes to visit so i will probably gain like 50 lbs.... and i haven't been working out lately but i should start its just hard when i am super tired in the morning and it's dark outside.. i don't know what the light outside has to do with me working out but it does.... and i lose a lot of energy when i work out cause i don't exactly have much energy because i am constantyl going going going but ya if i start to feel a little crazy and sick of the depressing rainy weather i'll do a few jumping jacks hah
so i decided that whenever we go onto the military base to visit military housing members i feel like i am on the that movie called the truman show! you know the one with jim carrey?? it is super weird.. i feel like everything is perfect and that i'm constantly being watched... which is proabbly true... but ya sonia and her boys live on base and we taught them a short lesson this week about reading the book of mormon and joseph her oldest boy was playing this game on the playstation and it was like guitar hero but he used his real guitar!! i freaked out and really wanted it haha cause i thought it was super cool!
will got confirmed yesterday! he is SUPER excited about finally becoming a member its awesome! franz or oops i should say PHONZ wasn't baptized this weekend cause he was workling and we could never meet with him... i was bummed so hopefully this week!! hopefullly.... we also taught mike and kristy who are slowly but surely progressing. they both read the book of mormon and pray so we'll see how they do this week!
so i decided that our family needs to become big sounders fans (its washingtons MLS team) (MLS=major league soccer) because they are way awesome and its where i'm serving my mission! so become huge fans OK?? well this week has been good! i'm getting along famously with my companion. this week we were eating at a members home and they were wicked old and i mean way old. the husband could hardly hear and the wife.. well she basically is old and just doesn't pay attention to much... so we are eating dinner and i kept mumbling stuff under my breath to my companion you know just funny stupid stuff cause i knew the family couldn't hear me (oh my gosh i just realized i am mean!) anyways... so i said something and it made my companion laugh really hard and the old lady is just telling us a story and she's like gazing off in the distance not paying attention to us but just telling her story and my companion and i are just laughing so hard but trying to be quiet at the same time and man it was SO funny! you probably had to be there but trust me it was funny haha
well i'm runninig out of time! but i hope you all have an awesome week and a great thanksgiving! tell all of the family i say "hey write me!!" hah jk but i am thankful for you all and all you do for me. i love you.
