hey mom!
well i'm glad you all had a good thanksgiving! we went to a few different members homes and ate with them it was fun! one of the families was the graves and sister baylon was there and as always i'm more than stoked to see her haha she's doing pretty good. the area she is in she ahs to share with elders so that can be a little challenging sometimes but other than that she is doing awesome! she always keeps me laughin'. she is counting down the days for transfers cause she knows about some changes that are going to be made so she is just waiting for dec 5th. i can't believe this transfer has is almost over! i felt like i just met sister balmlforth haha its crazy! oh so i got to thinking about how in last weeks email i said the bible made me appreciate the book of mormon more cause i could understand it better, and for some reason i was thinking and i thought huh that made me sound like i hated the bible or something hah so i just wanted to make it clear that i love the bible! in fact i have been understanding it better haha and i learn a BUNCH of new stuff every day when i read it with sister balmforth! but ya i just wanted to make that clear for some reason... haha
so nothing really exciting happened this week. no one was home to teach cause of the holiday so that was frustrating and then none of our investigators came to church.... which was disappointing. but tim blessed the sacrament!! i felt like a proud parent haha he is diong SO well it just blows my mind. he wrote me and sister balyon a thank you/testimony about how we helped change his life and it was so neat to read and have. i'm so grateful we found him and were able to teach him about Jesus Christ and his gospel.
oh man so we went to maggi's house this week.................. hahaha i always have a great story to tell when i come out of that lovely lovely home... so we come in and maggi is sitting on the couch so we walk over and start talking to her about life and she is like "do you want some jew food?" and i'm like "huh?? what the heck is jew food?" and so she goes and gets this plate of 'cookies' but they look like danishes but in cookie form i guess... if that makes sense.. anyways! so i say "oh man i just ate i'm soooo full but thanks anyways." and she looks at me with this crazy face and is like " uhh no you need to eat some cause you are WAY to skinny!" so i regretingly (is that even a word) take one and i take thee worlds smallest bite and i'm like 'oh wow these are great!" p.s. they werent and if you saw her house you wouldn't eat a thing that was made in it even if you were starving. ya well maggi is like " come on eat up!!" so i take a few more bites...... and then i accidently drop it on the carpet.... and it really was on accident and maggi is like"oh just brush it off it'll be fine" ok no. it was not fine you know why?? because the previous week her 2 year old daughter barfed allllll over the floor on that same exact spot where i dropped my cookie!!! and i saw how they cleaned it up and i'm pretty sure half of it was stilll dried on the carpet.. -____-
disgusting. so i pick up my cookie and i just hold it and i'm just trying to think of a way for me to hide it... so i stick it in this little pocket i have on my planner so i don't have to finish this now vomit encrusted cookie. well while this is happening my companion sister balmforth is just chomping away on hers hahaha ohhh man and she is thinking the same thing i was, you know trying to find a place to hide it. well she looks at me and see's that my cookie is all gone and she is thinking 'aw man my comp. is a champ she ate all of hers. now i gotta try and one up her and eat mine too!" so she finishes her cookie. well we say our goodbye's to maggi and we walk to our car and i look at sister balmforth and i say "hey you wanna know where my cookie is??" and she is liks "WHAT?! i thought you ate it all so i ate all of mine!!" haha it was pretty funny, i told her she had to be smart like me and then she wouldn't have to eat nasty junk.. we had a good laugh until sister balmforth barfed all over too...... hah jk she just got really close to barfing but nothing ever came up..
well that was pretty much thee most exciting thing that happened all week... seriously.. OH mom i forgot to tell you! so i went to the doctor this morning cause i have this weird bump on the back of my foot by my achilles tendon and it hurts really bad so i went ot have it looked at and the doctors told me i have achilles tendonitis and i'm supposed to tell you that our insurance will be charged for the visit just so you know. but ya dont worry my foot is fine they gave me some stuff to do to make it better.
well i hope you have a great week! transfers are next monday... so i might be here in silverdale or somewhere else! who knows we'll have to wait and see.. but i love you and miss you!!
