hey mom!
man this week was nuts as always haha i am trying to remember (as always) what specifically happened but first off i thought this email was gonna end in me crying cause my dog was lost haha but i am very glad that God answered your prayers and kona was found haha i find myself praying that my dog wont run away before i get home to see her (dont worry i pray for you guys too)
alright so this week we have made a few changes in the mission and its actually something me and sister baylon tried when we were first together in silverdale (which ps baylon and ikes go home this transfer... which is in a few weeks..) okay so the new thing we have been doing as a mission is inviting people to be baptized during tracting. so instead of the normal or not so normal door approach of trying to get a church tour or hand out a book of mormon we now just straight up teach them the doctrine of baptism on the doorstep and then extend the baptismal invitation and it has been way cool! we keep track of how many people we invite and then what the end result is and we invited 12 people this week and we got one return appointment and then 3 people said yes! so we are gonna start teaching them! so we have an armful of people preparing to be baptized! its awesome! and so we have just been fasting and praying like crazy for all of these people that we have had the priviledge of finding and i'm trying to keep track of everyone we are teaching cause i've never had a teaching pool that has been literally overflowing we are teaching TONS of people its nuts... we dont even have time for dinner sometimes we are so busy (dont worry i make stops at the taco bus and eat) but ya things are going really good and me and sis welch are just trying to work hard and give it our all since she dies next transfer and i die the transfer after that. so things are going really good!
we had a sister conference this past friday and it was fun to see all of my previous comp's especially ikes and baylon cause they mean a lot to me. but we had a trainging on being bold which was good especially for the new goals we've set as a mission to invite everyone we meet to be baptized. so its been goooood.
well i'm glad kona is still living at our home and the you are all doing good! i love you!
love tay
