hey mom!!!
yes you emailed me last week and it was really funny actually haha something about you got surgery and then you went into a tangent about butterflies and you sent me a picture of you haha it made me laugh!
but AHHHH wasn't conference just awesome!!! when they announced the tucson temple i freaked out!!!! and then they announced the new missionary ages and i freaked out even more!!!!!! its going to be soo neat to have more missionaries then ever out in the field!! we have a meeting with our mission on thursday to talk about the age change and how that effects our mission so we'll see what that does! but ah conference was so good! it was all just back to the basics of loving God and serving each other. i loved elder hollands talk about Christ asking "Do ye love me?" how often do we do that? we learn something and then afterwards go back to what we were doing before we learned it. at least i do that a lot... haha i was thinking about that and my mission. when i get home am i going to just go back to who i was before or am i going to continue forward and continue sharing the gospel with others. it was kind of a cool relation.
this week has been pretty good. we got some referrals who we are going to follow up with today which i'mi really excited for cause i've been a bit distracted with thinking of post mission life cause all of my mission friends leave in december or january so they talk about post mission life a lot so i've been praying for an someone who we can teach that will have the time to meet with us more then once a week and who we can make our new focus so i'm not distracted. its kinda funny, i was talking with ikes yesterday and we were both saying how talking on doors and teaching people is almost "easy" now. like before i had to really concentrate and focus on listening to people and now i can think of other things while knocking doors and get up to the door and have a perfectly good conversation while thinking of other things, so we were trying to figure out how to counter act that and be more involved even though we can do the same amount of work without. i guess thats where it comes to stretching myself and fully putting my heart, might, mind, and strength into it all. so thats what i've been focusing on the past week and thats my focus for this week is putting my whole mind into the work.
anyways haha sorry i went on a tangent! but thank you for khaleds email address! now i can email him haha
i'm glad everyone is doing good! tell them i love them and give them a hug for me!
