hey mom! man i am so jealous in all your guys emails its talking about disneyland!! haha kinda funny story about disneyland there was a sister missionary here who left back in november i think.. but she LOVED disneyland and she always said one of the first things she is going to do when she gets home is go to the "happiest place on earth" and when she got home she went with her family and sister weaver (the mission presidents wife) got a phone call from her while she was at disneyland and sister weaver asked her if it was the happiest place on earth. and she said "sister weaver, its not, i just have this gapping whole in my heart and i thought disneyland would fill it but i've realized the gapping whole is for the wa-tac.." so i've learned that disneyland is no longer the happiest place on earth haha its the wa-tac
man i'm still trying to wrap my mind around dad being bishop... its nuts! i loved bishop marquez he was awesome and i always felt he truly cared for the ward and especially the youth. i'm sad he wont be the bishop when i get home but it'll be cool to have my dad be it haha soo i've kinda got the address wrong that i sent to you a while back when i moved into my apartment but everything about it is correct just the numbers part i think i told you 8020 Sweet Brier Lane but its 8220 sweet brier ln but its all good i've been getting all my mail i just think its annoying the mail man cause they keep writing on the front of my letters that its 8220 not 8020 but ya..
so there is a city called yelm that is part of my area and its basically like a po-donk town that is full of weirdos and they have a group of people called the lizard people.. and the all live under ground and the think that when mount rainer erupts that there will be a bunch of lizards that will come out of it... haha i dunno its weird but i saw where they live and it looks like something from a movie... its surrounded by this HUGE wall and theres like a giant gate and everything and they just live underground.. ya its weird.
man so i learned a new trick to try with our fry sauce.. add a little horseraddish sauce to it and it is WAY good. there is this place called normas and its like a little diner and they have way good fry sauce and its cause of the horse raddish!
soo this week has been pretty rough. ike was sick on tuesday. and then all of our investigators canceled their teaching appointments... that is 6 total.. and then we tracted a TON and basically i'm sick of being rejected haha we haven't found any new investigators at all in a few weeks and none of the ones we were expecting came to church.. and then when we went to follow up with them after church only ONE answered their door.. so it was just way frustrating but me and ikes have decided on what we can do to change some stuff and there is always great trials right before miracles so hopefully i will have better news next week! but its kinda funny we found this new trend amongst the washingtonians while tracting... so you know how we had a a way bad snow storm about a 8 weeks ago? well from the there were a lot of trees fallen down and stuff and so there were a lot of tree branches everywhere and instead of gathering the tree branches and putting them in the compost trash can they are planting them in little pots... its ridiculous as if washington doesnt have enough trees already they have decided to pick up these little tiny twigs and plant them so they can try and save the trees.. i just dont understand the whole hippie tree hugger thing... okay well i kind of do but i mean come on! thats like us arizonians trying to save on sand and dirt.. its a joke! oh and a new adventure from tracting is i've now gotten neighborhood cats to follow us around and come up to doors steps with us haha its really funny i'll send a pic of one we got in our car..... :)
so there was a highlight to my week and that was that bro wilson spoke in sacrament meeting on sunday! it was awesome he just shared his conversion story and he always mentions me asking him to take the lessons haha so it makes me look really good! haha jk. he is so solid and just embraces the gospel its amazing. you can just see how he radiates everytime i see him. i will have to send pics soon so you know what he looks like haha
welllll mom i hope you have a good week and catch up on some sleep from all of your crazy travel adventures! i love you! tell kona to feel better after her surgery haha
