mom! transfers are now on tuesdays! instead of mondays and i haven't had the chance to go shopping cause sis p hates shopping... but i'm getting a new comp and she loves shopping so i will now be able to find a coat! so this is what is happening with transfers! i am actually getting transfered to a city called lacey. in the mission it is usually referred to as the "man zone" cause just elders serve there but me and my new companion sister eichenmiller are opening a new sisters area there so we are putting an end to the man zone! (ps this was every sisters dream) haha we are SO excited to work together and i am way pumped for this next transfer! sis eichenmiller is way awesome! she works hard and is way fun so i'm sure we will have a way fun transfer! we currently don't have a place to live so we are living with the sisters who are serving in olympia and i don't know the address there so if you send me stuff send it to the mission office address and i'll for sure get it. and then i'll let ya know on the address as soon as i know! i got my purse and stuff today just as i was about to leave! thank you!! i was so happy hahah
alllll right so this week was pretty busy we were doing som tracting at a place called owen beach and we saw the WEIRDEST baptism i have yet to see. okay so baiscally there was this group of people and they were standing at the waters edge around this priest guy who had on all sorts of robes and things and he is holding a small wooden cross in his hand (about the size of a sling shot..) and he is saying some things and then he proceeds to throw the cross really far into the FREEZING pudget sound and then we see this young guy run out from the crowd, jump into the water, and retrieve the cross..... then he comes back says a few choice words about how cold the water is and the priest pats him on the back and says congratulations and hands him some chocolate hahaha it was crazy! and we know it was a baptism cause we were talking to some people who were there to see it. i am so glad we don't have to be baptized that way! i would freeze and you'd probably have to throw me into the water.... so speaking of freezing! it has been snowing here since sunday........... and they dont have snow plows here cause they rarely get snow and they dont salt anything cause its bad for the plants and trees and washingtonians love their trees.... so basically i want the rain to come back!
oh so remember dennis?? (he told me i couldn't have a TESTImony cause i'm a girl..) ya so we were doing some tracting and our district leader, elder hazelbarth, and his companion, elder braegger were helping us tract and we sent them to dennis' house with out them knowing annnnd elder hazelbarth is phillipino so he has darker skin and dennis told him that he shouldn't hang out with us white people and especially not me and sis p cause we are white AND we are girls... hahah we laughed it was pretty funny! wellll i gotta go so i can head to lacey! WOO! i love you and it sounds like you had a way fun race with the jodi's! man aunt jodi is KILLER! hahah love you
