hey mom! so business first. ya i have to get that ticket figured out within two weeks of it happening and so the two weeks is up on sunday.. so i dont know exactly how to pay for it unless you've already talked to the mission office. but if you'll call them they can direc tyou. its just hard cause i only email once a week.. haha
we are still working for that "last" baptism! and i'm confident we can do it if we continue to work and follow God's promptings. i've got two weeks left to find this person haha which i'm always up for a challenge. this week at the temple was amazing! we arrived and it was super foggy so it literally looked like we were arriving in the clouds. so it left the temple grounds feeling very secluded. i just felt so much joy throughout the session and i really tried to consentrate on what was being said. the only part that got me was when they prayed for the missionaries. other then that i was just over come with so much peace. i was so calm. its the calmest i've ever felt in my entire life. and it lasted all day and into the next. it was so good. i wish i could feel that way all the time! but i know God just gives us glimpses of what He has so we keep searching and craving for those experiences again. because i think it helps us recognize their sacredness and how special they are. but that was the highlight of my week!
we had a normal week of knocking doors and teaching people! it was good. staying focused. living in the present. thats my current goal. baylon shared this a while back when she went home. "if we are depressed we are living in the past, if we are anxious we are living in the future," and i can't remember what she said about living in the present.. but it was good haha so it probably went somehting like "if we are living in the present we are happy". so thats been my goal to live in the now. be here now. and do all i can now.
i love you and will see you sooner than i can believe!
love tay
