hey mom!!my easter was good! we woke up to a pure blue sky!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant tell you how long it has been since i have seen a clear blue sky... man it was awesome i was like on crack all day cause i was way happy haha ikes always tells me she likes me best when the sun is out... apparently i can get grumpy with to much cloudy rainy days haha but we had an awesome easter sunday. i spoke in our first ward (lacey 6th ward) on the Savior and his ministry. i related it to us and how understanding his purpose can help us find ours and then i talked about the physical miracles he did (like kealing the blind and such) and then related that to us being spiritually healed by him and the things we can do to help with that. it was pretty good i still get a little nervous getting in front of everyone but it went well. about a week ago me and ikes tracted into a young couple named dan and michelle. and at first we just met michelle cause dan was working but she invited us inside and we talked with her. and she said her and her husband were talking about looking for a good church to raise their 13 month old son in and so she told us to come back in the evening sometime to talk with both her and her husband. so we came back a few nights later and we met just dan at the door so then we told him we would try again in a few days to see if we could catch both him and his wife at home. so we tried again this past week and we caught them both at home and we had a really good conversation about the church and what they are looking for and then they said they would come to church on sunday. so yesterday we were waiting in the hall to see if any of our investigators were coming and then 15 minutes early to church dan and michelle pull in! and then came and loved it! and they invited us over this wednesday for dinner and to talk more about the lessons and stuff! it was awesome!then kalian is getting baptized this sunday! we are so excited and she is way excited. we have a lesson with her tonight at a couple named the smith's house and they are young (they are all about my age) and the brother smith totally reminds me of khaled its crazy haha but they both such awesome people its amazing!oh ya so transfers are this week and me and ikes are staying together for another 6 weeks! haha we were way stoked cause we thought ikes was gone for sure because she has served her whole mission her in the olympia area. she first served in the olympia stake for 7 1/2 months and then cam her to lacey and will be here for 5 1/2 so she will have served a whole year in this crazy city haha lacey and olympia are basically like mesa is to glibert.man i cant believe you are preparing for grand canyon already.. i dont know if you'll ever drag me to do that.... haha thanks for the excercise dvd. me and ikes did it this morning haah it as a lot of aerobics and we all know how i'm not good at stuff like that so its probably really funny to watch me... but me and ikes are planning on getting into shape so that'll help a ton! man thats really cool that you got to help out with the set for jordyns play! wizard of oz is one of my favorite stories.well i'm glad things are staying normal at home! so i was thinking of khaled gets his mission call before i call home in may he should wait to open until i'm on the phone....... haha just thought it would be cool! but i doubt he'll be able to wait if he gets it before then! i love you! love tay
